Ben DiNucci has a Chance to be a Hero

Image
There is nothing more dangerous than a man who has nothing to lose, and Ben DiNucci has nothing to lose. The Nooch was drafted in the seventh round of the draft this season and had no plans of taking the field with Dak Prescott and Andy Dalton both ahead of him on the depth chart to start the season. Nobody has high expectations for DiNucci, a rookie about to make his first career start, and this Cowboys season has been completely derailed since the injury to Dak. Even though the expectations for DiNucci and the Cowboys could not be lower, the stage couldn’t be much bigger. DiNucci heads into his first start in a Sunday night, primetime game. Oh and who is he playing? The Philadelphia Eagles. With a win here, the Cowboys would take the lead of the NFC Least and be in a prime spot to make the playoffs. Even though the Eagles only have one more win (and a tie) than the Cowboys, they are double digit favorites. In a division rivalry game where anything can happen, this is DiNucci’s chance...

Lamar And The Ravens Are Painfully Average

Image
Lamar Jackson and the Ravens finished up the 2019 regular season considered one of the best teams. Even though they collapsed in the playoffs (for the second straight season), they were considered a Super Bowl contender and a lock for the AFC championship. Talking heads like   Cowherd even thought they would go 16-0 !!   Now we are almost halfway through the season and the Ravens have lost both their games against teams that are any good, and no, the Browns don’t count. Sure, The Ravens can really beat up on the teams that are bad and I don’t want to take that away from them and say that the Ravens are a trash team, but man, they have regressed for sure. Lamar is once again being exposed for not being able to sling the rock around like an elite QB and the Ravens running game has not been good in the slightest this year. I even had to drop Mark Ingram in my fantasy football league because he has been a bum this year.    I’m not sure if teams have just simply figured t...

The Dallas Cowboys 2020 Season is Dead

Image
Cowboys fans came into the 2020 season with high hopes. Jason Garrett and Rod Marinelli were finally out the door and with Mike McCarthy and Mike Nolan there was going to be more creative play calling on both sides of the ball. The additions this offseason were great as the defensive line was beefed up with several big-name free agent signings and the draft was a huge success with CeeDee Lamb and Trevon Diggs being the big names; however, with all that hope, the Cowboys are sitting at 2-5, and even though they are only half a game out of first place in the NFC East, their the season is lost.   Andy Dalton is No Dak Prescott After Dak’s tragic injury the signing of Andy Dalton in the offseason appeared to have been a great move by the front office but it seems as if the world has forgotten that almost exactly 1 year ago, the Bengals decided to bench Dalton on his birthday for rookie Ryan Finley. There were plenty of people who thought he would be able to replace Dak with littl...
